Here’s the second advertisement in IRA’s Be Men, Be Dangerous advertising campaign. It’s millstone season, men, and it’s time to make Utah safe for women and children instead of what it currently is: safe harbor for sexual predators with a rape conviction rate of under 3%. Failure begins at the top, and this advertisement takes the victim blaming speech given by Elder Richard G. Scott in April 1992 and pairs with the victim statement of Rachel Lee Hamblin, whose father David Lee Hamblin and his friends in the LDS Church of Satan blamed her for the sexual abuse they inflicted on her.
Be men. Be dangerous. Remind your elected officials who they work for, and that if they don’t want to do their jobs to make Utah a dangerous place for sexual predators, they can lose their jobs. Remind your church officials that you serve Christ, and if they serve the Devil by blaming victims for sexual abuse, they surrender any spiritual and priesthood authority they have. We answer to God, not the arm of the flesh.
It’s time to be men. God made us what we are, and we are men, and real men are dangerous to sexual predators.
