GRAMA Request Pertaining to David Leavitt

The above is the GRAMA request I filed this weekend pertaining to allegations against David Okerlund Leavitt, the former Utah and Juab County Attorney. Leavitt allegedly stashed South American illegal aliens in a cabin at the address listed in the request, and those aliens were stranded without electricity, heat, or water during a blizzard. One of the aliens hiked out of the area to a nearby convenience store, where Juab County Search and Rescue responded.

Initially, the allegations against David Leavitt fixed the location at Nephi Canyon, but due to an old friend of Leavitt discussing his visit to the location in question to deliver groceries, I was able to find a far more plausible location in Broad Canyon, outside of Mona, Utah. Prior research into Leavitt’s companies and his properties had turned up a Pine Hollow Real Estate Investment, LLC and a Summit Real Estate Investment, LLC, which collectively owned various properties around Privateer Mine.

Privateer Mine is frequently on the hiking and biking routes of individuals who ride state roads around the area. Some of those individuals have posted YouTube videos f the mine, and those videos have yielded interesting footage. For example, the presence of a couch in the mine opening is significant because the mine is extremely isolated. Someone would have needed to transport the couch via a truck a significant distance in order to place it within the mine.

Additionally, the Leavitts were embroiled in litigation with Juab County over the condition of roads through the respective properties. Access to those properties was an issue, as the Leavitts intended to develop the plats through Pine Hollow and other companies. These facts, along with information provided by key sources, enabled IRA to narrow down the location to 4825 E Hanna’s Way, likely named after Leavitt’s daughter. An aerial view of the properties in question provides only one visible structure, and that structure is likely where David Leavitt stored the illegal aliens in question.

Given the context of the accusations against Leavitt and other alleged CS members, the implications are chilling: the CS alleged preyed upon undocumented individuals for the purposes of ritual murder and sexual abuse. The Hamblin sisters explicitly identified polygamist groups such as the ones run by Tom Green and James Harmston as the sources of children used in CS rituals, as well as Indian children who were procured off of the reservation. Additionally, David Leavitt already trafficked a Native American girl named Allisandra Fishinghawk, who he obtained by allegedly bribing her mother Tonah Fishinghawk and former Northern Cheyenne Tribal President Lawrence Jace Killsback. Killsback later went to federal prison for wire fraud and false claims conspiracy.

David Leavitt appeared in documentary interview in which he acknowledged inducing Killsback to violate the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) in order to obtain custody of Allisandra Fishinghawk. The inducement was Leavitt’s pledge to leverage his contacts in the Ukrainian government to facilitate the export of buffalo from the Northern Cheyenne Tribe to the Ukraine. Leavitt later illegally adopted Allisandra, who sources indicate is now known as Emma. By transporting Allisandra Fishinghawk across state lines, David Leavitt engaged in trafficking.

Leavitt also allegedly paid Killsback $30,000, in addition to payments to Allisandra’s mother Tonah Fishinghawk. IRA previously covered the allegations in The Many Crimes of David Leavitt, Pts. I and II.

Investigations in Ritual Abuse will provide updates pertaining to David Leavitt and the events at 4825 E Hanna’s Way during October 2022. Additionally, Mona, Utah was the site of other allegations against David Lee Hamblin pertaining to his abuse of additional children outside of the Hamblin Victims Statements. IRA is currently examining those allegations and seeking corroboration.
