Here at IRA, we believe that sunlight and mockery are the best disinfectants. As such, we’ve devoted our time and resources to producing commercials for alleged Church of Satan members like Salt Lake Temple reopening creative director, alleged pedophile and sexual sadist, and advertising genius Gordon Bowen. In 2003, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints excommunicated Gordon because he made thousands of phone calls to gay escort services, but only for the massages.
According to his journal, Gordon’s sins were foreordained by God so that he could learn the secret codes and combinations necessary to perform a secret mission within his church. Secret codes and combinations are LDS speak for satanism, and they are what Cain learned after entering into a covenant with Satan. Cain became Master Mahan, and according to Rachel Hamblin and her sisters Eliza and Katherine, Gordon Bowen serves as the Punisher for the Church of Satan’s high council under whoever is Master Mahan for the entire CS.
Six years ago, Gordon sat with Agency Reporter for a scintillating interview that has 787 views on YouTube.
In that interview, Gordon’s malevolent power was on full display, just as it was when the LDS Church of Satan’s Punisher was tied up and smeared with feces by someone who wasn’t buying his bullshit. That’s the allegation made in Gordon’s divorce by those who claimed he missed an important client meeting because someone tied him up and smeared human waste on him, and Gordon had to take it because when his alleged victim isn’t a brainwashed Mormon or a child, he gets physically dominated.
Nevertheless, in the small pool of dysfunctional, second rate sexual sadists and perverts that made up to the Church of Satan in the Nineties, Gordon is a god of sorts. Those individuals, like disgraced former therapist and wannabe Native American David Lee Hamblin and his distant relations such as David Leavitt and He Who Shall Not Be Named, all got together in the Eighties and Nineties to convince terrified children that they were part of some huge covert group of other adults who worshipped Satan while maintaining a public facade as loyal Latter Day Saints.
Now, if you read the affidavits and statements filed by 40 people in Bowen’s divorce from ex-wife Barbara Timothy, the picture that emerges is of a man who never had an original idea of his own. He stole ideas from others, and those others were not happy about it. Like David Lee Hamblin, Gordon imploded in the early 2000s and was excommunicated when his ex-wife exposed him as a gay man with proclivities for gay pornography, gay male escorts, and incestuous abuse of his own children. Gordon did what any self-loathing closeted gay man would do: he ran to lesbians to save him from further exposure, and dragged out his divorce proceedings to hide his alleged desire to nurse his daughter Lily with his penis.
According to Justin Riggs, another researcher who has done fabulous work exposing Gordon Bowen, Bowen’s journals spoke of ritual abuse being greater in power and potency than regular sexual abuse. Apparently, multiple people have written church leaders letters detailing Gordon’s alleged abuses and improprieties towards children, but that hasn’t stopped church leaders from continuing to socialize with Gordon or renting his home in Holladay, Utah for church leadership soirees. It didn’t stop church leaders from retaining Gordon to produce a film about Jesus Christ which was shelved after a disastrous screening for church leaders.
That films cost a reported $20 million.
The church has also retained Gordon’s services to preside over the reopening of the Salt Lake Temple once its remodel is concluded. There is nothing definite on how much the church is paying Gordon Bowen for his services as creative director over the Salt Lake Temple’s reopening, but the amount is irrelevant: Bowen was excommunicated 23 years ago and has made no effort towards repentance or rebaptism, and why should he?
He enjoys close proximity to current leaders like Apostle Gerrit Walter Gong, whose mother Jean Fung Char lived with David Lee Hamblin’s in-laws during her time at BYU. Jean Gong is listed as a sister by affection in the obituaries of Nola, Belle Felice, and Carma de Jong, the daughters of BYU Fine Arts dean Gerrit de Jong, Jr. who allegedly held membership in the LDS Church of Satan. Jean’s son Gerrit Walter Gong allegedly plays pickleball with Gordon Bowen, and Gerrit’s son Matthew is a queer polyamorous Mormon.
Gordon’s association with David Lee Hamblin, the rapist who apologized to his daughter on a record line for raping her, began in New York in the Eighties, when Hamblin reportedly began treating Gordon as a therapist. This therapy extended to “exorcisms” of female spirits Gordon believed were causing him to be 90% gay, along with the consumption of sugar.
It also extended to Gordon confining his stepsons in his New York apartment with David Lee Hamblin and Kisi Watkins in a desperate attempt to convince the boys that their mother Barbara Timothy was in the wrong for divorcing their stepfather. Bowen took the boy’s passports and plane tickets so that they would be stuck in an apartment with a known predator, David Lee Hamblin, who a court found by clear and convincing evidence had molested his two eldest daughters Rachel and Eliza. Hamblin lost his license because he had sex with his patients and attempted to convince them it was therapeutic.
That’s who the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is retaining to oversee the grand reopening of the Salt Lake Temple. That’s Gordon Bowen. Gordon deserves mockery and exposure, but so do church leaders who have misappropriated church funds to pay an alleged pedophile, satanist, and child abuser in Gordon Bowen who spoke of his stepson's need for “hard, masculine love” in journal writings while retaining the services of gay male escorts in various cities while on business trips, albeit just for massages because “hard, masculine love” is something a professional massage therapist just can’t provide as well as a gay male escort.
If this occurred by common consent according to Doctrine and Covenants 26:2, IRA apologizes to church leaders and members. If it didn’t, you can go to General Conference in April and do two things:
When you’re asked to sustain the leadership, don’t. Raise your hand in opposition, stand up, turn your back, and walk out. If you’re a Latter Day Saint, you’ve seen one unanimous vote after another over your lifetime as a Latter Day Saint sustaining whatever the leadership puts forth.
That has to change, and it has to change in shocking fashion. There is no better place to demonstrate this than at General Conference. Even one hand raised in opposition will send shockwaves, as it would be an unprecedented demonstration of disapproval where church leadership is concerned.
I hope you join the effort to disinfect with sunlight and mockery, and ask the hard questions of church leaders who have enjoyed a free ride through artificial unanimous consent for far too long. There is no innocent explanation for why the church continues to do business with Gordon Bowen, especially when Bowen and the Church are named defendants in a federal lawsuit pertaining to Bowen’s alleged abuse of Katherine Baxter and Miriam Hamblin.
