Anne Mecham Gregerson, an LDS artist who began a life in art after her 1990 divorce, is allegedly a member of the LDS Church of Satan. The specific allegations against Gregerson originate from Katherine Hamblin’s Victim Statement to the Provo Police Department. Gregerson’s abuse allegedly extended to a second child, whose name is redacted in Katherine Hamblin’s Victim Statement. As the abuse allegations against Gregerson are absent from the Victims’ Statements of Rachel Hamblin and Eliza Hamblin, one can reasonably infer that the other child was Miriam “Mimi” Hamblin, who did not fill out an individual Victim Statement with her sisters.
Gregerson was born on January 9, 1951 to Dr. Lloyd A Mecham and Luana Claire Hyde, and the Mecham family’s primary residence was in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Lloyd was a dentist who obtained his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Washington Dental School in Seattle. His mother was Agda Elizabeth Andersen, but there appears to be no connection to the family of Richard Lloyd Anderson.
In 1974, Anne Mecham married James Scott Gregerson in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In 1977, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Jessica. In 1983, their son John arrived. Gregerson was a cabinet maker in Idaho Falls, but he suffered from asthma and relocated to Tucson, Arizona to start a flooring business.
