Attorney Jade Ferris is up for Petro and Ashton, which is odd bc to our knowledge, she's never appeared for Hamblin on any prior occasion. Ryan Peters is not on yet, and Judge Griffin asked her to text Juab County Attorney Ryan Peters to get on the Webex. Amazing. It's right at 10:30 a.m., the start of the hearing.

David Hamblin has made his appearance, and he's on camera. Ryan Peters just logged on at 1131 a.m. Judge Griffin is calling another case, will get back to Hamblin.

IT'S SHOWTIME.

Judge Griffin wants to know where they are today. Jade Farris is asking for a continuance because they have requested additional discovery. Ryan Peters says he's unaware of an additional discovery request, they have disclosed 10,000 pages of documents, a privilege log, by end of week they will disclose another 1,000 pages.

Since May 9th hearing, we've been disclosing quite literally tens of thousands of pages.-Peters.

When was new request sent, Ms. Farris?-Griffin

So, the prosecutor is late to the hearing, the defense attorney alleges a new discovery request but can't say which date it was sent.

Peters intends to make decision on charging additional defendants. This may change the scope of the privilege log.

The 1,000 pages disclosed later this week are the binder presented by the AG's office, and Peters believes they will have fulfilled the discovery obligations imposed by the court.
